No. STARtags operate using built-in batteries designed to last for the full tracking period of the device. This can be anywhere between 60 days and 5 years, depending on the model selected.
How accurate is the GPS tracking?
STARtag models provide location accuracy within a range of up to 40 metres. Accuracy can depend on the device model, environment and network stability.
Can I track my assets in real time?
STARtags use Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology and network connectivity to consistently update an asset’s location within the platform. They do not provide a continuous live tracking feed.
